STUDENT NURSES ASSOCIATION  

    SNA is an organization that is involved in community-health projects, state and national conventions, and fund raising activities.  SNA also provides support and guidance to all nursing students and affords students the opportunity to be involved with legislation affecting nurses on state and national levels.
 

LSU-Alexandria Student Nurses Association Currently Has Eight Members. We Are Actively Seeking New Members.

Membership Is Open To All LSU-Alexandria Students Majoring In Nursing                   

SNA Is Easy To Join And Membership Fees Are $30 Per Year.

 EVENTS

At LSU Alexandria The SNA Is Actively Involved In Campus And Community Services. During The Fall Semester We Held A Canned Good Drive And Collected Coats For Needy Children.

 The Canned Goods Are For The Annual Christmas Cheer Food Drive That Is Sponsored By Channel 5 KALB.

 THE GOODS ARE EVENLY DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE SALVATION ARMY, SHEPHERD CENTER, AND THE ALEXANDRIA FOOD BANK. THE COATS ARE BEING PICK UP BY CRAIG'S CLEANERS, WHERE THEY WILL BE CLEANED AND DISTRIBUTED.

START PLANNING 5K RUN  

DECEMBER 16TH S.N.A. MEMBERS WILL HELP AT THE PINNING CEREMONY FOR THE GRADUATES. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HELP CONTACT BRANDIN FROST AT 641-0933 OR JUST ARRIVE AT THE GRADUATION AT 10:00 A.M. AND FIND ONE OF THE NURSING INSTRUCTORS.
